Dr. Sampson Listowell Abu is a board-certified medical optometrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry with a distinguished background in clinical practice and research. Dr. Abu’s unique academic journey includes earning dual Doctor of Optometry (OD) degrees, first from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana and subsequently from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) at Salus University.

His path to clinical excellence was shaped by his firsthand experience navigating the rigors of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) exams. He completed the NBEO exams twice, initially prior to enrolling at PCO and again during his time there. Through intentional refinement of his study strategies and a disciplined approach to mastering the material, he achieved an impressive increase of nearly 600 points between his first and second attempts. This experience gave him deep insight into effective study techniques and examination performance.

Driven by a passion for mentorship, Dr. Abu founded Pristine Vision Tutoring Service to offer personalized preparation for the NBEO Part 1 and associated exams. His service is built on the philosophy of providing unparalleled individual attention and curated content to a sizable yet focused number of candidates.
